Donations from Embassy of Australia in The Federated of Micronesia
On behalf of the Friends of the Pohnpei Public Library, we would like to express our gratitude and thanks to the Embassy of Australia in The Federated of Micronesia for the donation. A check of $15,376(USD) was donated by The Embassy on May 3, 2023. Check was presented by Her Excellency Ambassador Jo Cowley and Second Secretary and Consul Luke Robertson to the library staff Head Librarian Truleen Albert and Assistant Librarian Malinda Mora together with Board Members of the Friends of the Pohnpei Public Library, Ms. Suzanne Gallen, Mr. Aaron Nighswander. This donation was made possible through the Pohnpei Public Library's successful application to theAustralia’s Direct Aid Program (DAP) to buy new computers and printers for the library.
