Cluster 2 Day One! Here we go!

 Building Friendships and Strengthening Reading Skills!

We wrapped up another successful day with Cluster 2 for our 2025 Summer Reading Program, continuing with our theme: “Coloring Our Library!” This time, it was the turn of our 3rd to 5th graders, and they brought great energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm to the program.

Throughout the day, the kids had the chance to make new friends and dive into a variety of fun and educational activities designed to build their reading comprehension skills. Highlights of the day included reading comprehension games, word grids, and coloring activities, all aimed at making reading and learning both fun and engaging.

The activities were nearly non-stop, with a much-needed snack break midway through each session. Our morning group ran from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, while the afternoon session took place from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Both groups stayed busy and involved from start to finish.

Before heading home, each student got to choose a book to take home, along with a book report sheet to track their reading progress in their individual program files.

At the end of the day, it was clear—everyone left satisfied and excited for more reading adventures ahead!
