Donations from REPAC (Reach Out Pacific)

Pohnpei Public Library received a container from Reach Out Pacific (REPAC) in Hawaii.  Inside this container were educational supplies, including boxes of books for the Pohnpei Public Library and the school libraries, wheelchairs and crutches for the Pohnpei State Hospital and baseball equipments for the Kapingamarangi Youth. All these items were generously donated by Kamehemaha Schools, public schools and Shriners Hospital in Hawaii.
Some of these books have been distributed to the school libraries in Pohnpei to help with their reading program. Thank you to REPAC, Kamehameha Schools, Matson, and Shriners Hospitals for their donation of goods and services.

REPAC's mission is to improve healthcare and education throughout the Pacific. Since its inception in 2004, REPAC has sent surplus medical and educational supplies for use throughout the Pacific neighbors including Pohnpei.
