The Australian Embassy issued USD $5,500 grant under its Direct Aid Program (DAP) http://fsm.embassy.gov.au/phpi/110110.html, to deliver a new Playground Equipment set for the Pohnpei Public Library, from MAHI International to the Friends of the Pohnpei Public Library.
Head Librarian, Lester Ezekias was presented the USD$5,500 check by Second Secretary and Consul Eliza Woolcock and First Secretary and Consul Neil Young.
The Direct Aid Program (DAP) is a small, flexible scheme available to non-government organizations, governmental organizations and community groups engaged in development activities for up to USD $20,000. DAP applications have a rolling deadline and can be submitted at any time.”
