💕Valentine's Day at the Library: Spreading Love and Joy💕

Valentine's Day is a special time to share love and kindness with those around us. It’s a reminder that love comes in many forms—whether it's the love of family, friends, or community. At the Pohnpei Public Library, we celebrated this heartwarming occasion in a unique and meaningful way.

On February 13, 2025, during our afternoon Story Hour from 4 to 5 pm (every Thursday), the children gathered together to create beautiful Valentine’s Day cards for their loved ones. This fun and creative activity was made even more special by Elder Christensen from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who guided the kids through the card-making process. Their laughter filled the library as they expressed their love through art and words.

As a sweet gesture of kindness, the children also received treats at the end of the event, all courtesy of the Christensens. It was an afternoon of creativity, connection, and joy—reminding us all that the simple act of sharing love can brighten someone’s day.
