There's a Special Reader at the Pohnpei Public Library

 Who Likes Green Eggs and Ham?

Last name sounding familiar? Yes, it does because whilst visiting her brother Mr. Andrew Trigg (our Australian Volunteer), Katy Trigg decided to dawn her reader's pants and share a story with our little minions at the library for Story Hour. She effortlessly engaged the kids as she brought to life the story of Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss, a true classic for the millenials and a fun rhythmic story for the little ears present that day.

After the reading session Katy shared her time with the kiddos drawing and coloring the cat in the hat. The kids enjoyed themselves so much so they were asking us when our new visitor might wander in again to share another classic story with her vibrant energy and kind smile. We are beyond thankful to Katy, for choosing to share her time with the kids here at the library despite her short stay. 

The universe is truly full of surprises and we may meet again, but until then, we hope you have enjoyed our little reading nook. The Triggs are always welcome here as Friends of the Pohnpei Public Library!
