A Sad Chapter, but Not the Last

A Heartfelt Farewell to Mr. Andrew Trigg

As we turn the page on another chapter at the Pohnpei Public Library, we pause to give our deepest thanks to someone who has left an indelible mark on our library family—Mr. Andrew Trigg.

Since October 2024, Andrew has dedicated a full year of service to FPPL, sharing his expertise in the field of librarianship with generosity and care. He has been more than a volunteer; he has been a mentor, a guide, and a source of strength during both bright and challenging moments. With his sound advice and uplifting spirit, Andrew helped carry our staff through tough times, always reminding us of the joy that comes with serving our community. His positive energy has been contagious, inspiring us all to do our best and to smile a little more along the way.

The Board of the Friends of the Pohnpei Public Library joins the staff in expressing our heartfelt gratitude for all that Andrew has done. From professional guidance to simple acts of encouragement, he has made this library a better place—not just for our patrons, but for every member of our team.

Though Andrew now embarks on the next chapter of his adventurous journey, we want him to know that FPPL will always be his second, third and forth home. Thank you, Mr. Andrew Trigg, for your service, your kindness, and your friendship. We hope to see you again someday. Until then, we send you off with our warmest appreciation and best wishes.
