Throughout the rest of 2026 library staff will work with Australian volunteer, David Maney, Children's Inclusive Librarian mentor. Our goal is to make the library a welcoming place for children with disabilities and their families. This will include: 

-inclusive language and autism awareness workshop. 

-learning to use picture communication systems. 

-creating a social story for the library.

-offering a Weekly Inclusive Story Hour.
